Postpartum stroke associated with amniotic fluid embolism (AFE) and disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) is an extremely rare life-threatening complication. Here, we report the clinical course and functional recovery of a postpartum woman who experienced ischemic stroke due to DIC following an AFE. Intensive and comprehensive rehabilitation therapies including physical, cognitive, and language interventions yielded significant improvements in motor function, balance, communication, and daily living activities. This case highlights the importance of structured rehabilitation to maximize recovery after severe postpartum neurological injury.
