Introduction:
Introduction: frailty is a highly prevalent clinical syndrome among older adults, associated with functional decline, increased dependency, and higher morbidity and mortality. It is currently recognized as a dynamic and potentially reversible clinical condition through early interventions supported by scientific societies. Objectives: to review the current approach to frailty from a multidimensional perspective, analysing the role of clinical nutrition, oral nutritional supplementation, and physical exercise as therapeutic interventions supported by scientific consensus. Methods: a narrative review of clinical guidelines, consensus documents, and relevant clinical studies on frailty, geriatric nutrition, and therapeutic exercise. Results and conclusions: major scientific societies recommend early management of frailty within a multidisciplinary framework. Nutritional intervention and structured physical exercise have a positive impact on functional capacity and muscle mass, constituting a fundamental pillar in the current management of frailty and in the promotion of healthy aging.
