Oncological Safety of Minimally Invasive Multivisceral Resection for cT4b Rectal Cancer: A Multicenter Comparison

Minimally invasive surgery (MIS) may be a safe option for advanced rectal cancer requiring multivisceral resection (MVR). This approach showed reduced blood loss without compromising long-term survival in selected patients.

- MIS appears to be a viable option without compromising oncological outcomes in carefully selected patients.
