Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) is linked to specific ECG changes in drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE). Shorter corrected QT intervals at baseline and altered RR intervals/heart rate during seizures were observed in TLE patients.

- These findings suggest potential ECG markers associated with SUDEP risk in TLE.
- Further research is needed to validate and generalize these outcomes.
