Abstract:
Oleylamine-passivated hydrophobic Sdots was developed as an efficient and promising adsorbent. The Sdots displayed excellent optical properties and exhibited a remarkable iodine vapor adsorption capacity of 2676 mg g-1, surpassing many conventional adsorbents. Efficient capture of iodine was driven by the combined contributions of the sulfur- and nitrogen-rich sites and hydrophobic surface of the Sdots.
