Summary

Transcutaneous electrical cranial-auricular acupoint stimulation (TECAS) shows promise for major depressive disorder (MDD). Pretreatment brainwave patterns, specifically delta and beta band functional connectivity, may predict patient response to this neuromodulation therapy.
