Abruptly autofocusing (AAF) beams exhibit exceptional capabilities in advanced fields-including optical manipulation, micro/nano-fabrication, and super-resolution imaging-due to their unique property of instantaneously concentrating energy at the focal point. While enhancing the focusing performance of light beams remains an active area of research, it continues to pose substantial challenges. To address this, we introduce a novel hollow circular Pearcey (HCP) beam, which enhances focusing performance by distributing the optical field over an expanded area while precisely concentrating energy at a predetermined position. We theoretically demonstrate that the proposed beam achieves a peak intensity contrast of up to 104, exceeding that of circular Airy beams by two orders of magnitude. This superior focusing capability provides a promising approach for bio-compatible optical manipulation.
