Practical color holographic master fabrication method based on computer-generated holography and optical interference
Abstract:
In this paper, we report a practical technique for a color holographic master in the form of arrays based on computer-generated holography (CGH) and optical interference. Firstly, a single wavelength equivalent color computer-generated holograph (ECCGH) algorithm is proposed based on the inner relationship between a color hologram and a monochrome hologram. The three-dimensional (3D) color information of the object can be encoded in an ECCGH with a single wavelength by using the proposed algorithm. The ECCGH is fabricated on silver halide photosensitive material by employing a self-made CGH direct-write system. Secondly, a holographic master fabrication scheme is proposed by combining CGH and laser interference. Also, the corresponding system is designed. The 3D color information of the ECCGH can be recorded on photoresist with surface relief structure in the form of arrays by the proposed system. The principle and calculation process of the ECCGH algorithm, the fabrication system, and experimental results are presented. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method is feasible.
