Main Results:

  • High agreement (ICC > 0.90) was found between in-person and tele-assessments.
  • Tele-assessment demonstrated excellent intra- and inter-rater reliability.
  • Participants took significantly longer to complete the test via tele-assessment (p < 0.05); no adverse events occurred.

Conclusions:

  • Tele-assessment of the 360 Degree Turn Test is reliable and safe for chronic stroke patients in controlled settings with caregiver support.
  • Direct comparability of performance outcomes between tele-assessment and in-person evaluations may be limited for longitudinal tracking.
