Platelet-Rich Plasma and Platelet-Rich Fibrin in Periorbital Esthetics: Systematic Review and Clinical Applications

This systematic review evaluates the effectiveness of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) for periorbital rejuvenation, updating a previous 2021 review. Twenty-six studies were included with notable variability in preparation methods limiting clear conclusions. Patient satisfaction was high with PRP/PRF treatment, which was only moderately effective for periorbital hyperpigmentation, and objective improvements for wrinkles and skin texture were mixed. Clinical use is described.
