ONCONNECTE À L'EMPLOI is a multidisciplinary group program designed to prepare individuals for returning to work after cancer. It takes place via videoconference and is organized by the Regional Federation Cancer Institute (IRFC), initially funded by a grant from the National Cancer Institute (INCa). It is intended for all patients in Franche-Comté who are engaged in a process of returning to professional activity. The program consists of 8 sessions, the first of which focus on the organization and practicalities of returning to work after cancer, regardless of professional status, while the subsequent sessions focus on preparing the individual for this return. The facilitators are experts in supporting professional reintegration and providing supportive oncology care. One hundred and nineteen patients benefited from the program between March 2022 and June 2025, the majority of whom were women with breast cancer. Based on the results of the satisfaction questionnaires, participants found the program relevant and were satisfied with its content. The proportion of patients participating in the program who used the information received to initiate specific support to prepare for their return to work is satisfactory and increasing over time. One year after participating in the program, 67% of respondents to the impact questionnaire had returned to work, mostly on a part-time therapeutic basis. Systematizing global assessments of post-cancer needs within the framework of the end-of-treatment system would optimize the referral of patients to the ONCONNECTE À L'EMPLOI program, particularly vulnerable people.
