Summary

Simulated obesity in rats did not alter Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κB Ligand (RANKL) and Osteoprotegerin (OPG) gene expression during orthodontic tooth movement. Further research is needed to understand obesity's impact on Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor κB (RANK) expression.
