[Cholestaetoma of the frontal sinus in a child]

Cholesteatoma is a relatively common disease of the middle ear and mastoid process, but is rare in the paranasal sinuses. Among the paranasal sinusis, the frontal sinus is the most common location. Given the rarity of localization, there is no consensus on treatment tactics. Maximum surgical removal of the formation is the only effective treatment method. However, the choice of optimal access and the need for intraoperative obliteration of the sinus remain a question. The article presents a rare clinical case of frontal sinus cholesteatoma in a child with successful surgical treatment using osteoplastic obliteration of the sinus.
