Background:

  • Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a significant risk after total hip arthroplasty (THA) and total knee arthroplasty (TKA).

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare the effectiveness and safety of rivaroxaban versus low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) for DVT prevention post-THA/TKA.
