Abstract:
This themed collection celebrating Prof. N. Sathyamurthy's scientific contributions on the occasion of his 75th birthday includes a broad array of topics ranging from atomic and molecular collisions, quantum, classical and semiclassical dynamics, gas-surface scattering, ultracold molecular collisions, electronically non-adiabatic and photochemical processes, as well as quantum computing and machine learning algorithms. Authors include many of Prof. Sathyamurthy's former students, current and former collaborators, as well as other leading researchers in India and across the scientific world. The large number of contributions (over 90) is a testament to Prof. Sathyamurthy's legacy, his lasting contributions to the growth of theoretical chemistry research in India, and his scientific achievements.
