Abstract:
Phosphatidic acid (PA) functions as a dynamic second messenger in response to multiple stresses in plants. Recent insights into the mechanisms of diacylglycerol kinase-derived PA signaling have expanded its functional profiles while leaving potential avenues for research and key knowledge gaps, which will be discussed in this forum article.
