Abstract:
In many countries, the number of people of elderly cohort is steadily increasing. It is expected that over 2015-2050, the percentage of the worlds population older than 60 years will increase twice, from 12% to 22%. With increasing of life expectancy, the problem of HIV infection among persons of elderly cohort will gain greater importance, since by 2030 it is assumed that 70% of people with HIV infection will be aged 50 years and older.
