Abstract:
Two cobalt-porphyrin porous hyper-crosslinked polymers, functionalized with halogen-free imidazole or halogenated imidazolium groups, were engineered with cooperative dual active sites. Both materials effectively catalyze the cycloaddition of CO2 to epoxides under mild conditions, with the halogenated variant exhibiting significantly enhanced catalytic performance.
