Revision surgery in patients on biologic therapy with lower preoperative CoSI scores (<70, reflecting previously incomplete surgery) resulted in significantly greater improvement in SNOT-22 after revision surgery compared to patients with previously adequate surgery. Incomplete prior surgery, as assessed by the CoSI, remains a likely correctable contributor to symptomatology even in patients receiving biologics.
