  • Notable improvements included reduced Timed Up and Go times (r=0.65) and increased tragus-to-wall distance (r=0.52).
  • Improvements in Mini-Balance Evaluation Systems Test scores and reduced postural sway were also observed (r=0.48 and r=0.40, respectively).

Conclusions:

  • MIBEX significantly enhanced mobility, balance, and postural stability in older adults compared to usual care.
  • The findings support MIBEX as an effective intervention for improving physical function and potentially reducing fall risk in the elderly.
