Phosphofructokinase-platelet (PFKP) drives osteosarcoma progression by increasing lactate and protein lactylation, including histone H3 lysine 18 lactylation (H3K18la). The natural compound quercetin inhibits PFKP, offering potential therapeutic benefits for osteosarcoma.
