Objective:
Aim: To investigate the impact of motor activity on the dynamics of students' psychosomatic health indicators during their distance learning under martial law.
Patients And Methods:
Materials and Methods: The research involved 252 female students aged 17-20. Depending on the level of their motor activities, three groups were formed: female students in group a (n=75) engaged in physical exercise 3 or more times a week; female students in group b (n=95) exercised 1-2 times per week; female students in group c (n=82) did not engage in physical exercise. Research methods: theoretical methods, questionnaire, psychodiagnostics methods, statistical methods.
Results:
Results: It was found that among female students of group a, psychosomatic health indicators significantly improved (p<0.05). In contrast, group b and group c deteriorated. The most pronounced negative changes in group c were observed in indicators of stress levels, neuropsychological tension, and the emotional state of the female students. At the end of the research, all subgroups of group a exhibited statistically similar indicators of psychosomatic health (p>0.05), regardless of the focus of the physical exercise sessions.
Conclusion:
Conclusions: The results demonstrate the effectiveness and appropriateness of incorporating a reasonable amount of physical activity to maintain and improve students' psychosomatic health indicators during distance learning under martial law. At the same time, physical exercise of any type helps reduce stress and neuropsychological tension, strengthen health, improve students' well-being and mood, increase their work capacity, and, consequently, their academic performance during wartime.
