Case Report and Literature Review: Endometrioid Borderline Ovarian Tumor

This case report provides a detailed description of a case of endometrioid borderline ovarian tumor (EBOT). EBOT is extremely rare, rarely reported in the literature, lacking typical ultrasound findings, and is difficult to differentiate from other subtypes of borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs); definitive diagnosis depends on pathological examination. The patient was a 55-year-old woman. Ultrasound examination revealed a cystic-solid mass in the left adnexal region and the diagnosis of EBOT was made by pathological examination. After surgical resection of the tumor, the patient received regular chemotherapy, and follow-up examinations showed no recurrence.
