Abstract:
Pediatric brain tumors are the most common solid malignancy in childhood, and they remain the leading cause of cancer-related mortality. Presentation varies by age, tumor type, and location, often including persistent headaches, vomiting, or focal neurologic deficits. Advances in molecular diagnostics have refined classification and have revolutionized the role for targeted therapies. Successful management requires a multidisciplinary team consisting of neurosurgery, oncology, radiation, and supportive care. Long-term follow-up is essential to monitor for recurrence and manage treatment-related sequelae, underscoring the importance of coordinated survivorship programs.
