Research Progress on Dual-Modal Fluorescence-MRI Molecular Imaging of Molecular Probes in Breast Cancer

Abstract:
Breast cancer (BC), as a prevalent malignancy among women worldwide, requires early and precise diagnosis to improve patient prognosis. This review systematically summarizes the recent research progress of fluorescence -magnetic resonance (MR) dual-modal molecular probes in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, focuses on introducing three major design strategies of the probes, and analyzes their synergistic advantages in tumor localization, metastatic lesion detection, intraoperative navigation, dynamic drug monitoring, and other aspects. Studies have shown that by combining the high-resolution anatomical information of MRI with the high-sensitivity dynamic tracking of fluorescence imaging (FI), FI-MRI dual-modal molecular imaging significantly improves the accuracy of early diagnosis and treatment visualization, and can provide an important reference for formulating precise diagnosis and treatment strategies for breast cancer.
