Background:
Data on ofatumumab use in women with multiple sclerosis (WwMS) planning pregnancy are limited.
Objectives:
We conducted an observational study in WwMS to describe third-trimester CD19 counts, postpartum MS activity and pregnancy outcomes after pausing ofatumumab at conception.
Results:
Twenty-five women were included. Third-trimester CD19 counts remained depleted (median 0.017 × 109/L) in 23 available results. No postpartum relapses occurred (25/25 [100%]), and majority (22/25 [88%]) had no new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) activity. No new safety signals were identified.
Conclusions:
B-cell depletion persisted into the third trimester following ofatumumab cessation for pregnancy with low postpartum MS activity, although limited by small sample.
