Abstract:
The field of all-inorganic metal halide nanocrystals currently faces the challenge of developing efficient approaches for the scalable, facile, and stable synthesis of nanocrystals (NCs). Here, we present a protocol for the acid-mediated modified ligand-assisted reprecipitation (LARP) synthesis of undoped and Sb-doped Rb3InCl6 nanocrystals. We describe the key steps for glassware and labware cleaning, precursor solution preparation, rapid injection-driven nanocrystal formation, purification and redispersion, and scintillator composite film fabrication. We further detail structural, optical, and X-ray imaging characterization procedures, providing a comprehensive workflow from nanocrystal synthesis to scintillator screen evaluation. For complete details on the use and execution of this protocol, please refer to Karluk et al.1.
