Abstract:
We report a case of juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm with bilateral common iliac artery, and internal iliac artery (IIA) aneurysms treated by hybrid approach to preserve pelvic perfusion. Covered stents were deployed into the IIAs, followed by open surgical repair, where the proximal end of the stent graft in the IIA was inserted into a prosthetic graft using Ginza forceps (DVx), and the prosthetic graft was then anastomosed to the surgical graft. This case highlights a practical hybrid approach for complex aortoiliac aneurysms that preserves bilateral pelvic perfusion and facilitates secure graft-to-stent anastomosis in a deep pelvic field.
