Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) associated corneal allograft rejection

This paper highlights a potential immune mediated effect of ICI's that is not well appreciated. The rejection of a corneal allograft with loss of vision should be taken into account in the treatment of these patients. RELEVANCE: With the rapid expansion of indications for ICI therapy and the prevalence of corneal graft transplantation, this information helps to identify patients that should be screened and followed by an ophthalmologist while on ICI therapy.
