Abstract:
A 31-year-old woman with an incidental intramyocardial cyst underwent multimodality imaging evaluation. Echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated characteristic findings of a cardiac hydatid cyst despite negative serology. Surgical resection confirmed the diagnosis, highlighting the importance of multimodality imaging in isolated cardiac echinococcosis and emphasizing that negative serology does not exclude cardiac involvement.
