This cross-sectional survey assessed patient acceptability, perceptions and concerns regarding ambient artificial intelligence (AI) scribes in an outpatient dermatology clinic. Most patients reported comfort with AI scribe use (82.1%) despite limited prior exposure, although over half expressed concerns. These findings highlight the need for transparent, patient-centred implementation strategies and tailored discussions addressing patient concerns.
