Abstract:
An unsupported Ir oxide catalyst with hybrid nanoneedle and nanoparticle structure was developed for low-Ir PEMWE. Such architecture offers enlarged active surface area, improved electrical conductivity and fast bubble detachment kinetics, providing enhanced OER kinetics and stability under 0.16 mgIr cm-2 loading.
