Abstract:
A type-II heterojunction is constructed by coating BiVO4 (BVO) with a polycarbazole (PCz), which suppresses electron-hole recombination. With Co single atoms loaded, the Co/PCz/BVO exhibits excellent photoelectrocatalytic water oxidation performance, achieving a photocurrent density of 6.26 mA cm-2 at 1.23 VRHE and an applied bias photon-to-current efficiency of 2.5%.
