Dapagliflozin and Acute Kidney Injury Following Cardiac Surgery: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Preoperative dapagliflozin significantly reduced acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients undergoing cardiac surgery. This study demonstrates a novel preventive strategy for AKI, a common postoperative complication.
