Apigenin, Selenium, and Combinations Are Effective in Preventing 5-Fluorouracil Induced Cardiovascular Damage

This study shows that apigenin and selenium can protect against heart damage caused by chemotherapy drug 5-fluorouracil (5FU). Combining apigenin and selenium offers the best cardiovascular protection against 5FU toxicity.
