900 nm wavelength-tunable all-polarization-maintaining all-fiber mode-locked laser using phase-biased NALM
Abstract:
We demonstrate a ∼900 nm wavelength-tunable all-polarization-maintaining mode-locked Nd-doped fiber laser based on intracavity loss management. By effectively suppressing the parasitic oscillation at ∼1060 nm, the laser operates successfully in the dissipative soliton resonance regime, generating rectangular pulses with a central wavelength continuously tunable from 899 nm to 905 nm by adjusting the intracavity loss. The pulse duration can be tuned from 115 ps to 1430 ps, corresponding to a maximum single-pulse energy of 1.30 nJ. The all-polarization-maintaining configuration ensures long-term stability and environmental robustness. This work provides a high-performance light source option for applications such as two-photon microscopy and blue laser generation.
