Abstract:
Difenoconazole (DIF) is a highly effective fungicide widely used in agricultural production. However, excessive use of DIF poses risks to both environment and human health, resulting in the urgent need for its convenient detection technology. In this research, the novel fluorescent probe was designed and synthesized for detecting DIF effectively based on a naphthylamide Schiff base. It possesses a remarkable "turn-on" green fluorescence response on detecting DIF with excellent selectivity among 33 ions and pesticides, rapid response (1 min), good stability and low limitation of detection (2.4 × 10-8 M). The detecting mechanism of 1:1 complex was elucidated by fluorescence Job's plot, 1H NMR, MS, FT-IR and DLS analysis. The application experiments suggest the good potential for simple and rapid detection of DIF in real samples.
