The management of children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes (T1D) in special situations requires coordinated action based on up-to-date protocols. This document presents the consensus recommendations of the Diabetes Working Group of the SEEP (Spanish Society of Pediatric Endocrinology) based on the international guidelines of the International Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD 2022) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA 2026).
