Summary

This study developed the 19-item Forensic Trauma-Informed Care Supportive Climate Scale (Forensic TICSCale) to measure patient experiences in secure psychiatric hospitals. The new scale shows good reliability and validity for assessing trauma-informed care in forensic services.
