A bimetallic MOF-on-MOF heterostructured electrocatalyst of CoFe MOF-(74 + 274)/NF is fabricated by multiple hydrothermal and solvothermal approaches, and exhibits excellent oxygen evolution reaction performance with ultralow overpotentials of 188 and 255 mV at 10 and 100 mA cm-2, respectively, in an alkaline solution.
