Occupational therapy and collective health are fields of knowledge marked by dynamism and ability to integrate with other fields. Therefore, this article aims to discuss and advance the theme of approaches and integration between occupational therapy and collective health, seeking an occupational therapy in collective health. Based on data from an exploratory research, some elective affinities between the areas were systematized and updated, as well as a theoretical proposition was presented. There was space for an integration between the knowledge of occupational therapy and collective health, which could support the elaboration of an intelligibility matrix proposed to constitute a domain of occupational therapy in collective health and provide occupational therapists with a theoretical framework that could be used. when navigating collective health, in varied contexts such as assistance, research or management.
