Summary

Firefighter recruits experience significant early fat loss and body composition changes during training, with a plateau occurring between 12 and 18 weeks. Both multifrequency bioelectrical impedance analysis (MF-BIA) and skinfold analysis (SKF) effectively track these group-level changes over time.
