Bone Marrow Edema Syndrome (BMEs) and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome type 1 (CRPS-1) are linked to lower bone mineral density (BMD) and poorer bone microarchitecture. Osteoporosis is more common in these patients, suggesting shared pathways.
