C. Tang, J. Yang, Q. Liu, Y. Wang, W. Wang, "Up-regulated Mir-192-5p Expression Rescues Cognitive Impairment and Restores Neural Function in Mice With Depression via the Fbln2 -mediated TGF-β1 Signaling Pathway," The FASEB Journal 33, no. 1 (2018): 606-618, https://doi.org/10.1096/fj.201800210rr. The above article, published online on 17 August 2018 in Wiley Online Library (onlinelibrary.wiley.com), and its correction (https://doi.org/10.1096/fj.201800210RRERR), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Loren E. Wold; the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology; and Wiley Periodicals, LLC. A third party reported to the journal that image elements in this article had been published in multiple different articles by different author groups. Further investigation by the publisher found additional instances of image duplication and manipulation. Articles which share images, each presented in different experimental and scientific contexts, are listed as follows: Han et al. 2018 (https://doi.org/10.1186/s10020-018-0020-y) Li et al. 2018 (https://doi.org/10.1002/jcp.26574) Zhang et al. 2019 (https://doi.org/10.1007/s12035-018-1299-y) The authors did not respond to an inquiry by the publisher. The retraction has been agreed to because the evidence of image and data duplication across many articles fundamentally compromises the editors' confidence in the results presented in this article. The authors were informed of the retraction.
