Abstract:
We report here a thiophene-linked cyclic(alkyl)(amino)carbene (L) and its [(κ1-L)CuCl] and [(κ2-L)Rh(COD)]BF4 complexes. While the Cu complex is a precatalyst for hydrosilylating carbonyls and esters, the Rh one does the same to terminal aliphatic olefins.
