[Worker health and safety on maritime platforms: ergological renormalizations in offshore work]

Maritime platforms pose threats to the health and lives of offshore workers. To minimize possible damage to oil workers, there is an appreciable need for health and safety professionals, who must be in full health - physical and mental - to look after the entire crew. This article aims to analyze the work activity of occupational safety and/or health professionals who work in the offshore sector through the contributions of ergology, placing emphasis on renormalizations. The methodology used was to carry out 6 semi-structured interviews with professionals who are the focus of this study. As a result, it was observed that prevention professionals in the offshore sector need to "confront" work standards, whether based on their gaps or their limitations, using their produced knowledge and cunning to make the work on the platform happen.
