Abstract:
Rapidly destructive osteonecrosis of the humeral head can develop after superior capsule reconstruction despite intact graft healing. New or worsening shoulder pain with rapid functional decline several months postoperatively should raise suspicion for osteonecrosis and prompt early imaging and intervention.
