Abstract:
Here, we describe an older man who developed avoidant-restrictive food intake after an acute onset of dysgeusia that persisted for nearly two years. After initiating a multifactorial treatment approach that included light therapy, nutritional support, and mirtazapine, both the eating disorder and dysgeusia resolved within months.
