Abstract:
Polarization is one of the most widely exploited degrees of freedom in photonics, yet controlling it within integrated circuits remains challenging. A reconfigurable silicon photonic circuit now combines polarization generation and analysis on a single chip, opening new opportunities for advanced communications, sensing, and optical information processing.
