Abstract:
In case of malocclusion, along with clinical diagnosis, radiographic techniques are needed due to the complex anatomy and pathology. Therefore, it is of interest to evaluate the relation between OP using T-SCAN and TMD. We have included 60 patients that were divided in group A & B in equal parts. Here group patients were clinically diagnosed patients and group B as control group, respectively. We found that, only protrusion and right canine had high significant difference between the 2 groups. Thus, we show that the relation can be best indicated using new technologies like T-scan. Furthermore large prospective studies over long period are required for more definitive and confirmatory result.
